Our Community in Orlando
St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church serves the faithful in Orlando, Florida. We are a vibrant community that gathers to worship, serve, and proclaim Jesus and His Church in the rich Maronite Catholic tradition.
As a Maronite parish, we are in full communion with the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church, while retaining our unique Eastern Catholic heritage, liturgy, and spirituality which traces back to Saint Maron, a 5th-century Syriac monk.
Who Are The Maronites?

The Maronites are Eastern Rite Catholics who trace their origins to the Middle East, specifically the mountains of Lebanon. The Maronite Church uses Syriac (a dialect of Aramaic, the language spoken by Jesus) as its liturgical language alongside Arabic and English in our modern celebrations.
"The spiritual heritage of the Eastern Churches is an integral part of the heritage of the universal Church."
- Pope John Paul II

St. Jude Thaddeus
Our Patron Saint
Saint Jude, known as the patron saint of lost causes and desperate situations, was one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus. He preached the Gospel with great passion, often in the most difficult of circumstances.
A Prayer to St. Jude
Most holy Apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of difficult cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone...
